Indian citizens aged 18 or older on the qualifying date can register as voters. Register, check your name on the electoral roll and find your polling station on the Voters’ Service Portal (Form 6 for new voters). On polling day, vote at your assigned polling station on the electronic voting machine (EVM); a VVPAT slip lets you check your vote. Bring your Elector Photo Identity Card (EPIC) or another identity document accepted by the ECI.
