“Thank you for the honor of serving you. We are living with the stress of high inflation, the threat of reoccurring, natural disasters and a sense of uncertainty in many areas of life.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“All Alaskans want safe, healthy, prosperous communities with good jobs, quality schools, affordable housing, energy, and health care that will attract families and our young people to stay and continue to build. Finding real solutions to these complicated issues requires experience, cooperation, and commitment. I have a strong record of bringing that. We are making progress. During my terms, we've grown our Permanent Fund from $64 billion to $92 billion.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“We've boosted education as schools face inflation and declining enrollment. A pension plan is in the works to retain and attract high quality troopers and teachers. Another ferry is ready for service, pending trained crew. Energy relief via a gas pipeline is on the horizon. We're repairing aging infrastructure. We are working with our federal delegation to address disasters.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)

“Alaskans deserve hope for a better future. Every region of our State should have the opportunity to build a strong, thriving economy. We have been bogged down by high energy and transportation costs, overregulation and onesize-fits-all solutions. When Alaskans lose opportunity, vision and hope - they leave. With over 24 years of experience at the local and State levels of government, I have worked through complex challenges and delivered practical, common-sense solutions.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“As Administration Commissioner, I helped keep State jobs in Juneau. I worked effectively with state and federal partners to rebuild Haines after the landslide. This experience is vital to moving beyond where we are today - 49th in the nation in education results, a sluggish Southeast economy and continued outward migration. My commitment to you is to reduce regulatory barriers to entrepreneurship, promote incentives for childcare and support solutions to reduce housing costs.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“Every family understands a simple truth: expenses cannot continue to grow without the income to support them. Alaska was founded on the promise of developing our abundant resources, and we must continue to do so responsibly to fund the priorities Alaskans care about, from Permanent Fund Dividends to education, public safety, and infrastructure. Like many others, Ken and I came to Alaska for our cabin in the woods - we found that Alaska is so much more.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
