“Hi, I'm Kate. I'm a blue dot in a sea of reds, & for most of my life, that felt lonesome. But lately I've been finding other dots. People who are tired of the same old politics & ready to build something better. Let me tell you, finding a friend out here is a good thing. I'm running because I believe Alaska can do better. Not with slogans or empty promises, but with great public schools, healthcare for all, & getting money out of politics.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“I'll be outspoken when needed & persistent when it counts, pushing for an Alaska where teachers are paid fairly, rural clinics stay open, & families can actually afford to live.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
