“House district 9 is where Anchorage ends and Alaska begins. My family and I are privileged to call this place home. Rosie, my incredible wife and fourth-generation Alaskan, has taught in Anchorage public schools for nearly a decade. We're blessed with two children in elementary school who delight living next to Chugach State Park and Potter Marsh. I love Alaska and Alaska has been good to me. It's where I met my wife and built a career in natural resources. And my biggest hope is that my kids and others can realize their dreams here as well.”

Without a reliable and affordable alternative, increasing energy costs will harm families, businesses, and everything else. Without a strong education system, our families will look elsewhere for their children's future.”

With smart policy and needed infrastructure, we can unleash Alaska's full potential. The reality is that we can't cut or tax our way to prosperity. Passing responsible budgets and focusing on growing our economy is the best way to reverse Alaska's decline. This is my pledge and it would be my honor to represent you!”

“I'm a community leader with over 40 years of business experience in engineering, education, manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas. I grew up in this state, raised my family, and created businesses. I've worked in the industries that built this state, and I understand how to expand on that foundation for Alaska's future.”
(Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet) “But our future begins and ends with our children. We need to deliver sufficient, stable funding to our schools, expect results, and pass defined-benefit legislation to retain and recruit quality teachers because our families deserve confidence in our education system.”
(Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet) “My goal is always to give communities, businesses, and people the tools they need to succeed. As a legislator, that means working with my community to develop the policies and funding needed to provide essential state services and support local capacity, enabling each community, its families, and businesses to thrive. It's time to build the future. An economy powered by Alaskans, with opportunities for Alaskans. An economy where people don't need to leave to find a job, where our families can put down roots and stay. Let's build it together.”
