“I always put Alaskans' best interest first in making decisions. I'm a lifelong Alaskan, and all parts of our state are important to me. Character means integrity, courage, and hard work. This describes my public service in the Senate. You can continue to expect this. Principles & collaboration are required for meaningful public policy. Principles define my positions on issues. Collaboration means listening to other Alaskans' views and trying to find middle ground.”
(Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet) “I don't trade my vote for a favor from someone else. What does this mean in practice? Resource development prioritizing benefit to Alaskans over out-ofstate corporations. We need outside businesses, but "Alaska Hire" matters. Our resources provide paychecks for Alaskans and revenue for government services. Education: All Alaska kids deserve an excellent education, smaller class sizes, extracurricular programs, and great teachers.”

“Alaska's future depends on a healthy private-sector economy. Our state is blessed with wonderful people and abundant natural resources. We should responsibly develop our oil, natural gas, mining, timber, fisheries, and other industries while maintaining the high environmental standards that Alaskans expect.”
(Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet) “Education is one of the most important investments we make, and it is critically important. Simply spending more money is not enough. Parents deserve transparency, teachers deserve support, and students deserve schools that prepare them for college, skilled trades, military service, or the workforce. Success should be measured by outcomes, accountability, and student achievement. I believe Alaska works best when government partners with the private sector instead of standing in its way. We should encourage innovation, support entrepreneurs, improve infrastructure, and create an environment where businesses can grow and families can thrive.”
(Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet) “My approach is simple: common-sense leadership, responsible development, fiscal discipline, and accountable government. I will work to protect Alaska's economy, strengthen our communities, and ensure state government delivers results efficiently and effectively. Together, we can build a stronger Alaska that preserves our values, expands opportunity, and leaves the next generation with an even brighter future.”

Alaska is a serious place with serious challenges. The people I work alongside — tradespeople, small business owners, families trying to make a budget work — do not get the option of unaccountable spending or vague promises. They have to deliver.”
