“When my husband and I moved to Alaska from upstate New York in 1974, it was a land of opportunity. Both of us were raised in small towns, where we grew up with strong families, good friends, good schools, and good neighbors who watched out for everyone's children. That also described the Alaska we found those 50 years ago. The Annie E Casey Foundation has evaluated children's well-being since 1990.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“The data assess four categories: economic well-being, education, health, and family and community. Between 1990 and 1995, Alaska's children were ranked among the top ten states in the nation in overall well-being. In 2026, our children's well-being ranks 47th out of 50 states. These data are appalling to me. We are betraying our children. I believe every decision the government makes should address the well-being of our children.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“Are we enacting a fiscal plan that addresses fair revenue sources? Are we adequately funding a robust education for all? Do we have good, up to date job training opportunities? Are we ensuring youth have enough food and adequate health care? Are we supporting early childhood education? Are we figuring out why our kids die from suicide, accidents, or homicide more frequently than most US kids?” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)

“I am not a politician. I am a businessman who has to make payroll and create jobs. When my numbers do not work, I cannot vote myself a bigger budget or charge my customers more. I find a way. That is what I will bring to Juneau, and here is how. One: leverage the experts. I am not the expert on everything. In the private sector, I built my business by finding the people who are and putting them to work. Juneau rewards those who pretend to know it all. I will not. “Two: natural resource development. Finish the rail line to Port MacKenzie and move our resources to world markets. Bring new Cook Inlet gas online before prices, already set to jump 49 percent by 2028, crush Valley families. Three: education. Fund schools that deliver. Ten thousand new residents arrived in four years, yet our district lost four hundred students. Every education dollar must reach the classroom, and every parent deserves choice.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“The Mat-Su is the best place in Alaska to live, work, and raise a family. I have done all three here. Simple: find savings and grow our way out.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)

“I am a born and raised Palmer Alaskan running for State Senate because I believe in putting families first and protecting the Alaska way of life. As a chemical operator on the North Slope, I understand how important our energy industry is. Good paying jobs and responsible resource development matter to families like mine.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“I support full monetization of our natural gas through projects like Alaska LNG so we can create stable revenue, keep energy costs down, and fund essential services. As the son of longtime Mat-Su educators and a graduate with a degree in Elementary Education, I am committed to properly funding our schools. Our teachers deserve support and our kids deserve a strong education that prepares them to thrive here at home.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
“As someone who grew up on the water, I will fight to protect our world class fisheries and salmon runs that sustain so many families, including my own. Fishing has always been a big part of my life and I want to make sure future generations can experience what we've all learned to love. Alaskans face real challenges with the high cost of living, housing, and energy. I will work every day so people don't just have to live here, but can flourish here. We need leaders who honor faith, family, and hard work. It'd be an honor to fight for my fellow Alaskans.” (Alaska Division of Elections Official Election Pamphlet)
