Topic headings are Vote Book’s; quoted words are each candidate’s own, with the source under each one. “As reported” items are a news outlet’s description, not an exact quote.
Utility rates
So, my goal is to try and negotiate 4 cents per kilowatt-hour for our price reduction for the citizens of Alabama.
Data centers
I would like to leave it up to the vote of the citizens of a community whether or not to have a data center in a community, but that is up to the mayor and county commissions whether it is allowed. It is not the Public Service Commission’s scope to say that a data center is allowed here or there.
Rate relief
It is going to take one hell of a negotiation to get that ball across the line. But that would be my goal, to get us some relief.
James O. Gordon is not a current member of Congress, so there is no congressional roll-call record to show. As state representative for Alabama House District 98 (2006–2010), Gordon has a state legislative voting record: Vote Smart key votes (Alabama House).
Only criminal charges, convictions, civil judgments, ethics findings, official censures and open official ethics investigations (House or Senate Ethics Committee, Office of Congressional Conduct, or a state ethics commission), from official records or at least two independent mainstream news outlets. An open investigation is not a finding. Civil suits without a judgment and complaints with no official investigation are not listed.
