Alma Hernandez

Alma Hernandez was born in Tucson, Arizona. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Arizona. Hernandez has worked with PowerSource Tucson as program coordinator for Bridging the Gap, a program that helps women living with HIV/AIDS. In November 2018, Assemblymember Hernandez was elected to represent Arizona's 13th district. After election, Hernandez became a sitting member of the Federal Relations Committee and the Health & Human Services Committee.
