Social Security & Medicare
As Medicare open enrollment begins October 15, seniors deserve coverage that they paid into and can rely on. Too often in our community, however, having coverage does not mean having access to care.
Education
As the emergence of artificial intelligence reshapes our education system and workforce, the federal government needs to lead with the appropriate guardrails and necessary programs to protect our students, teachers, and working families.
Elections, ethics & government
Now, as a U.S. Representative, I’m working hard to preserve, promote, and advance opportunities for the people and working families of our congressional district. From San Jose to Santa Cruz and from the Monterey County coastline to the rolling hills of Northern San Luis Obispo County, the 19th Congressional District is dynamic and diverse. But, we have common values that I will continue to fight for as your U.S. Representative.
Families & communities
Having grown up in the 19th Congressional District and in a family devoted to public service, I’ve dedicated my career to giving back to our community and country. As a former prosecutor, I delivered justice for victims and their families and worked to reduce violent crime. As a former officer in the U.S. Navy and veteran of the War in Afghanistan, I served my country and fought for our shared values.
Families & communities
For nearly two years, the people of Brookdale have waited in good faith while USPS sat on its hands, missed deadlines, and failed to provide a reliable timeline for restoring service.
Families & communities
Since the Brookdale Post Office burned down, the people of that community have waited for nearly two years in good faith while the USPS sat on its hands saying that they would reopen the facility.
Priorities
As a United States Representative, I’m fighting to give people opportunities for a better life.
Priorities
When disasters strike, it’s an all-hands-on-deck reaction by our firefighters and law enforcement officers at every level. That’s why coordination, communication, and integration are important for the success of that type of unified response.
The same votes are shown for every member of Congress on the ballot, so records can be compared across states.
