“I’ve spent my life fighting for others, from serving 21 years in the United States Marine Corps to standing up for veterans, working families, and advocating for those with disabilities in the State Assembly. When Governor Newsom proposed IHSS cuts that threatened vulnerable families, I stepped up, fought back and helped protect the critical services thousands depend on. Public service is about people, not politics. I’ll continue working across party lines to be a voice for every community and every constituent in Assembly District 36.” (Campaign website (gonzalez4assembly.com))
