Social Security & Medicare
Americans are drowning in medical debt while insurance companies and big pharma make huge profits. This analysis shows we can guarantee health care to every American and save our country more than $1 trillion every year. We can also strengthen our hospitals by ensuring they are paid for care that currently goes uncompensated and reducing the enormous administrative costs of our current system.
Taxes & spending
Tax the billionaires. I represent more of them than anyone in Congress, and when I backed a billionaire tax, they poured big money into a primary challenge. If I can stand up to donors funding my opponents, the rest of Congress can too. And cut the bloated Pentagon budget for endless foreign wars. I’m for Team America first.
Jobs, wages & cost of living
Kids today fear their lives will be nothing like their parents’ or grandparents’. In Pennsylvania, where I grew up, families worry about good jobs and paying the bills. Meanwhile, in my Silicon Valley district, a handful of corporations and billionaires control over $18 trillion within a 50-mile radius.
Jobs, wages & cost of living
Workers should share in company stocks and profits, whether they are working for a trucking company, a production studio or a car manufacturer. It’s an important way workers can fully thrive as A.I. increases America’s productive capacity.
Elections, ethics & government
Trump campaigned on lower costs and no new wars. We are now in the eighth month of an illegal war in Iran that was never authorized by Congress. While the wealthy and powerful profit off the war, American taxpayers should not bear the economic costs of the president’s broken promises. They deserve their money back.
Elections, ethics & government
I was honored to meet with Pope Leo, who has offered, more clearly than any other global leader, an ethical framework for AI grounded in two fundamental principles: human dignity and equality. Every technology leader should follow this framework. That is why I am calling on the CEOs of major AI companies to answer for how their policies align with Magnifica humanitas, including how they will prevent mass unemployment and ensure that technology remains in the service of human beings.
Priorities
The old guard has failed our nation. I am speaking to the anger of millions of families who’ve been crushed by a rigged economy and hollowed out towns. 70 percent of Americans no longer believe in the American dream.
Priorities
We must be a nation on the move again, as we were when Kennedy called us to the moon. That vision brought my parents here. This was the place to be.
The same votes are shown for every member of Congress on the ballot, so records can be compared across states.
