Brandon Chafee

“As a civil engineer, Brandon knows that an efficient transportation system and sound infrastructure are the backbones of a strong society. Over the past few decades we have chronically under invested in maintaining our current transportation system, and building a system for the future. We must reverse this trend and start making sound investments in infrastructure.” (Candidate statement)
“I have some great news to share! The State Bonding Commission has approved $900,000 in funding that I requested to install permanent bathroom facilities at three Middletown parks. The City of Middletown will receive $900,000 for permanent public restroom facilities at Smith, Butternut and Harbor Parks. These facilities will include full plumbing with running water and lighting.” (Candidate statement)
“Affordability and working to lower the costs my constituents face was my top issue this session. On Saturday, I proudly stood with my House Democratic colleagues in passing the State budget. Through the hard work of the Middletown delegation, we secured a $5 Million increase in education and municipal aid. With this increase Middletown will receive over $60 million in total state aid for FY 2027.” (Candidate statement)
