Christopher Poulos

Christopher Poulos is the incumbent Democratic / Independent Party member of the Connecticut House of Representatives representing District 81, running for re-election on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot. District 81 covers parts of Hartford County. Christopher Poulos was born in and lives in Southington, Connecticut. Poulos graduated from Southington High School in 1993. Poulos earned a B.A. in leadership studies with a double minor in business administration and Spanish in 1997 from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in the teaching of Spanish from Columbia University in 2003. His career experience includes working as a teacher at Joel Barlow High School in Redding, Connecticut , and as a teacher-leader in residence with the Connecticut State Department of Education.
