Defense & Veterans: “Karlton Howard is a dedicated leader working tirelessly to make our community a better place. With years of experience in public service, he is committed to continuing to serve the people of District 129 with integrity and passion.” (Campaign website)
Education: “I spoke out against SB472 -- a bill that would strip local communities of their voice in school board governance by removing local authority over appointments and removals. Our schools deserve leadership that answers to the families, students, and communities they serve -- not distant decision-makers. Local control matters. Accountability matters. Our voices matter. I will not stop fighting for the preservation of our democracy.” (Campaign website)
