Education & School Safety: “Our goal with these legislative proposals is to build a safer, healthier and more supportive environment for every child in Georgia’s public schools. We want the public to read these bills, understand their purpose and share their input so that together, we can shape policies that truly reflect the needs of our students, parents and educators.” (Georgia House Press Office (Oct. 22, 2025))
Veterans & Environment: “Supporting our veterans is non-negotiable, and I am committed to ensuring their sacrifices are recognized in meaningful ways. However, HB 369 tied that noble purpose to the continued use of plastic bags, which pose a severe and ongoing threat to our environment. We should be finding sustainable, forward-thinking ways to honor our veterans without perpetuating pollution.” (Georgia House Press Office (Feb. 26, 2025))
