Energy, Utilities & Environment: “With Georgia’s population becoming more centered in urban areas, the influence that South Georgia once had in our state government is dwindling. As State Representative, Sam made sure that we, as Southwest Georgia citizens, had a seat at the table. As our State Senator, he’ll continue that fight. He’s running to protect our economy, which is based in agriculture, and to provide a better future for the next generations.” (Campaign website)
