“Let's Take Iowa Back Hey, I'm Mike, and I proudly serve as the Mayor of Windsor Heights.”
(Candidate statement) “Hey, I'm Mike, and I proudly serve as the Mayor of Windsor Heights. During my time as an elected official, I've had personal experience with the extreme Iowa Legislature eroding Home Rule, stripping Iowans of individual liberties, and underfunding public education.”
(Candidate statement) “I'm a lifelong Iowan, born in Des Moines, raised in Urbandale and Windsor Heights, and graduated from Johnston High School. I attended DMACC, the University of Iowa, and Drake Law School. Upon graduating from Drake, I settled in Windsor Heights with my family, as we loved the neighborhood, trees, community, and my grandparents had lived here for decades.”
