(Candidate statement) “I was born and raised in central Iowa, so Iowa values are instilled in me. I grew up off Douglas Avenue and attended Des Moines North High School. My wife and I chose to establish ourselves in Urbandale because it felt like a small, welcoming community with big city amenities – and we were right. We've been welcomed in with open arms and caring hearts ever since.”
