Trish Carter-Goodheart (Democratic) is a candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives in District 6A (Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce counties) in the November 3, 2026 general election. A proud member of the Nez Perce Tribe, Trish Carter-Goodheart was born and raised in the close-knit community of Lapwai. Serving as a community fundraiser and grantwriter, she is raising two young children with her partner in their hometown.

Colton Bennett

Colton Bennett (Republican) is a candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives in District 6A (Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce counties) in the November 3, 2026 general election. Colton Bennett was born in Indianapolis, Indiana . Bennett began serving in the U.S. Army in 2019. He earned an associate degree from Purdue University Global in 2021. Bennett's career experience includes working as an EMT. As of 2024, Bennett was affiliated with the Latah County Republican Party.
