General election Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026 · Local and district races
Source: Pratt County Election Officer, Notice of General Election (candidates), as published October 1, 2026 (Kansas Press Association public notice archive) (accessed Oct 17, 2026). Names are shown as listed by the source. Which district races you see depends on where you live; check yours at Kansas VoterView (Secretary of State).
| Office | Candidates |
|---|---|
| County offices | |
| County Commissioner, District 1 | Terry Williamson (R) vs. Kris Davis (D) |
Also on every Pratt County ballot: U.S. Senate, Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Treasurer, Insurance Commissioner, your U.S. House and Kansas House districts, the State Board of Education (odd-numbered districts), the Kansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals retention questions and the statewide constitutional amendment.
The notice also lists township clerks for Townships 7 to 12 (Tracey Keeling, Terry L. Smith, Greg Patrick, Christopher W. Eubank, Galen Reece, Gary Barker) and a City of Pratt commission race (Kyle M. Farmer, Tamicia (Tammy) Coleman, Jessica Travis, Landyn Sparks, Susan Mayberry), but the copy we read is scrambled, so we could not match each clerk to a township or confirm the city race. Check your sample ballot.
Party labels are as printed in the county's official notice (R = Republican, D = Democrat, L = Libertarian, I = independent). Kansas county commission seats are partisan except in Johnson County, where they are nonpartisan. In some judicial districts (such as the 13th, 18th and 19th) district judges are elected on party ballots; in others (such as the 3rd and 10th) voters decide whether to retain them.
Township clerks listed with no candidate can be filled by write-in votes. Kansas House races depend on your address; all 125 seats are on the Secretary of State candidate list. Check your ballot at Kansas VoterView (Secretary of State).
One candidate per seat on the list (write-ins may still be possible).
Yes or no on keeping each judge in office.
Francis E. Meisenheimer (Division 1), Gaten Thomas Wood (Division 3), Shawn Robert Dejarnett (Division 4)
