Where Beach stands

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Walter "Rocky" Beach has served Louisiana as a paramedic, advocate, and leader. He has spent his career helping people on their worst days and fighting for better emergency care, stronger communities, and accountable government. Rocky isn't a career politician. He's a first responder who has worked to improve EMS, protect patients, and support the men and women who serve on the front lines. ROCKY'S PRIORITIES SUPPORT FIRST RESPONDERS Protect EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, law enforcement, and emergency personnel. IMPROVE HEALTHCARE ACCESS Strengthen emergency medical services and rural healthcare. FIGHT GOVERNMENT WASTE Demand transparency, accountability, and responsible spending. PROMOTE COMPETITION Support policies that encourage innovation, choice, and better service. PUT PATIENTS FIRST Ensure emergency care decisions focus on patients, not politics.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Abortion Abortion is a complex and deeply personal issue. I oppose abortion when it is used as a method of convenience in situations where pregnancy could have been prevented through responsible contraceptive use. No CCS Pipelines I oppose the use of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects that negatively impact Louisiana communities No Eminent Domain for Private Companies I oppose the use of eminent domain to take private property for the benefit of private companies.
