Maryland State House District 11A (unopposed)

“In November 2018, I was elected to the Baltimore County School Board in Councilmanic District 2, receiving 66.1 percent of the vote in the general election. In December 2021, the school board selected me to serve as its vice chair. It was the work on the Board that truly piqued my interest in what the State Legislature really had to say about educating our children.” (Campaign website (cherylpasteur.com))

“I resigned from the school board on February 11, 2022, to run for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 11A. Running for the delegate seat was a natural move for me when the State Legislature designed and created Legislative District 11A. After winning the election, I was sworn into the Maryland House of Delegates on January 11, 2023.” (Campaign website (cherylpasteur.com))
