Maryland State House District 30B

“As an environmental leader, community volunteer, and advocate for everyday people, I have spent my career standing up for the communities, land, and waterways that make South County such a special place to call home. Now, I am ready to bring that experience to Annapolis and make sure South County has a strong, effective voice—one that listens, fights back when it matters, and always puts our communities first.” (Campaign website (mattjohnstonfordelegate.com))

“This grassroots campaign is funded by people like you. Together, we can win.” (Campaign website (mattjohnstonfordelegate.com))

“I have spent my life as a proud Maryland resident, committed husband, and devoted father. For more than 29 years, my wife Erika & I have called Anne Arundel County home, raising our daughter, a 2016 graduate of Southern High School, in the same community we continue to serve.” (Campaign website (sethfordelegate.com))

“As a former small‑business owner for over two decades, I understand firsthand how overregulation and unstable tax policy can hinder job creation and economic growth. My business provided local jobs, strengthened the county’s economy, and shaped my belief that Maryland thrives when entrepreneurs and employers are empowered—not burdened.” (Campaign website (sethfordelegate.com))
