Maryland State Senate District 3

“Since living in Frederick, I dedicated my life to improving our community through organizations such as the Weinberg Center for the Arts, the Frederick Rotary Club and serving as a City of Frederick Alderwoman. As your Senator, I put Frederick first by fully funding K-12 education, improving our state’s healthcare system, and bringing in jobs for our growing economy.” (Campaign website (lewisyoungforsenate.com))

“I am proud to serve as your State Senator. I currently serve on the Senate's Budget & Taxation Committee, where I chair the Pensions subcommittee.” (Campaign website (lewisyoungforsenate.com))

“Four questions will be on your ballot this fall. Three would rewrite the Maryland Constitution; one would strengthen Frederick County's term limits. Here is what each one does, and how we recommend you vote.” (Campaign website (shelleyaloiformaryland.com))

“Why we're against it Someone voters never elected would set the cost. If talks stall, an arbitrator could decide pay and benefits, and the Governor would be required to fund whatever is decided.” (Campaign website (shelleyaloiformaryland.com))
