(Campaign website) Energy, environment & water: “For the past four years, I’ve been a strong progressive voice in the Michigan House, and before that, I served on the Berkley City Council. I have always worked to listen, lead, and fight for solutions that make people’s lives better. I’m now ready to bring that same energy and commitment to the Michigan State Senate. I’m asking for your vote so we can continue building a diverse, welcoming state where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

Education & schools: “I also made sure excellence was recognized. Whether it was celebrating the Lincoln High School boys basketball team for their first state title or honoring the Warren Symphony Orchestra's 50th anniversary, these weren't photo ops. They were declarations that our community sees hard work and stands behind the next generation.”
(Campaign website) Priorities & campaign themes: “That is exactly why I am running for Michigan's 10th Senate District. I have already sat at the regional tables, balanced the books, and protected our children. I refuse to be disrespected, discounted, or dismissed. If I was elected to serve, why would I ever allow our district to be shut out? Lansing needs a proven, commonsense voice. One who has done the work, earned the seat, and will fight for every family without regard to party. I am ready to carry our legacy of service, respect, and results all the way to the state senate.”
(Campaign website) Priorities & campaign themes: “Oakland's I-75/M-59 interchange has short weaving sections, severe peak period turbulence, projected queues, and an average of 109 crashes annually in its influence areas. A Commerce Township intersection handles about 75,000 vehicles daily. Growth can overwhelm interchanges and local arterials even where capacity already exists.”
(Campaign website) Infrastructure & transportation: “Oakland's Restore the Reuther work affects I-696/I-75 through 2026. Macomb's $12 million I-94 resurfacing covers 5.4 miles with repeated weekend closures. Long duration lane and ramp closures shift traffic onto already busy parallel roads.”
