Priorities & campaign themes
I’ve always admired Harry Truman. He was a Missourian who understood that leadership means making hard decisions, taking responsibility for them, and being straight with people even when the truth isn’t comfortable.
Priorities & campaign themes
The most important principles are integrity, accountability, courage, and service. An elected official should tell the truth, show up, listen to the people they represent, and be willing to make hard decisions even when they are politically inconvenient. Public office is a public trust. You should be there to serve not to enrich yourself, protect your friends, or chase power. I believe in service over selfishness, truth over lies, unity over division, and hope over despair. And above all, you have to remember who you work for: the people.
Priorities & campaign themes
I’d like my legacy to be pretty simple: I stayed myself, I told people the truth, and I helped the people who elected me.
