“I spent my childhood influenced by the values my parents instilled in me: tenacity, empathy and generosity. My mother grew up in a low-income, minority household, and my dad was raised on a dairy farm in rural Indiana.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection)
“Their life experiences influenced how they raised my brother and me, which helped shape who I became: a hard-working business owner with a passion for helping others. If elected, I believe these qualities will serve me well because I'm motivated more by the opportunity to make positive change than I am by money or power.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection)
