“I'm a team player who knows how to work hard and get things done. Rowing with the US Women's team, I won a World Championship Gold for the USA and twice competed in the Olympics.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey) “I have two decades of experience fighting for Montanans as an attorney, arguing in front of the PSC and in the courtroom. I run Tranel Law Firm and represent clients who want to invest in renewable energy projects, as well as water and property rights, and regulatory issues in front of the PSC. I've kept $10 million in Montanans' pockets from monopolies and helped developers invest millions of dollars to build wind energy projects in Montana.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey) “I am passionate about people working hard at the job they've been elected to do, and not using a public position for private gain. I am passionate about accountability, and our leaders being willing to follow the rule of law and science in reaching decisions, rather than looking to line their own pockets. The Public Service Commission exists to protect the public from the monopolies, not to protect the profits of monopolies. I am committed to fighting for Montanans.”
