“During my years in Montana, I have watched party politics crowd out practical, common sense solutions. I have also seen families priced out of their homes and communities. And I have watched our Montana way of life, built on hard work, independence, and strong local communities, steadily erode under growing political division.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey) “There are no perfect solutions, only trade offs.” We need representation that understands this reality and gives every decision made in Helena the careful, critical thought legislation requires. Montana deserves pragmatic political leadership, and I am the candidate to bring common sense to Helena for a people first Montana.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey) “Montana deserves a fair, transparent tax code. Today, we are burdened by one of the most complicated systems in the country, one few people understand and even fewer believe is fair. We need a simpler, clearer system that taxpayers can understand and trust. Fairness means rules that apply evenly to everyone, not policies that single out certain people, industries, or communities.”

“As they say - "If you ain't got your health, you got nuthin'." Healthcare is getting to be way too expensive for far too many of our neighbors - we have to address how to reach a better solution, because that just isn't right and we can do better. Also. Montana is now down to one major health insurance provider (Blue Cross/BS & Montana Coop), which deserves addressing. I will be looking to see if and how we might allow Montanans to buy into the state health plan.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey) “Cooperative and competitive - I would encourage dialogue and discussion to build on the true bipartisan, all-in-for-Montana, approach that I already feel in the legislature.”
