Public education & schools: “Growing up in a four-room farmhouse in Robeson County, I quickly learned that the values of hard work, faith, and education were the keys to a successful future – lessons learned from my parents, teachers and my community. I’ve never lost sight of those values, and that’s why I fight every day to help provide North Carolinians with the same opportunities to succeed.”
(Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026)) Public education & schools: ““I know that the first step to keeping existing jobs here in North Carolina, and to bring jobs to our state, is to invest in our schools — because businesses are looking for an educated workforce that is ready for the job.””
(Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026)) Public education & schools: ““We all deserve the freedom to live in safe, welcoming communities. Going to school, attending church, shopping for groceries, doing your job, or — as we saw in my neighborhood of Hedingham — running on a greenway trail should not be a death sentence.””

Public education & schools: “As a former Police Officer my main focus is the safety of our children. No parent should ever fear sending their childern to school. Our children and their education is the future of our country. I want to protect that future, not only from gun violence, but, also drugs. I have the skills and knowledge to make that happen and with my military experience, I have the drive to follow through, on any and every task I have ever put before myself.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey (2024)) Taxes, budget & cost of living: “I am passionate about many things. I believe in workforce housing, and the right to try, equal education, price gouging and inflation, health care and medical assistance, law, order and accountability, the protection of our forest and wetlands, puppy mills and mostly the well being of the citizens of North Carolina and it's government.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey (2024)) Public education & schools: “We have so many people moving to our great state, and we are suffering a housing crisis as many states are. I believe there will be a challenge in regards to growth and maintaining adequate green ways, and forestry. I believe our infrastructures will not be efficient and effective in handling the commutes of our increasing population. We need more schools and we need to be competitive when it comes to teacher salaries along with their aides and that of the janitorial, cafeteria, and busing employees.”
