Public education & schools: “North Carolina has grown and prospered since I moved here in 1976. Once a state where manufacturing and agriculture were dominant, job growth is now concentrated in financial services, health care, information technology, and pharmaceuticals. Previous state leaders were visionaries who made intentional investments in public education; infrastructure like roads, bridges and ports; and successful public-private partnerships like the Research Triangle Park.”
(Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026)) Campaign priorities & governance: “Between 2011 and 2014 I witnessed many deliberate legislative actions that set North Carolina on a regressive path. I was not willing to stand by and watch a legacy of progress, forged through decades of hard work and financial investment, continue to be threatened by political partisanship and short-sighted legislative policies.”

Taxes, budget & cost of living: “As a Libertarian, I fight to return power to you. Lower taxes, end unnecessary regulations, protect rights, stop wasting resources on policing and prosecuting victimless crimes. Real choice in education, healthcare, and personal decisions. District 16 voters want change. Together, we can make North Carolina freer and fairer for everyone.”
(Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026)) Taxes, budget & cost of living: “NC Senate district 16 includes wonderful communities across western Wake County, including Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and surrounding areas. I admire the hardworking families, innovative businesses in tech and retail, and strong independent spirit here. People value opportunity, freedom, and hard work. But high costs, regulations, and government interference hold us back. With more liberty—less taxes, fewer rules, real choices—our entire district can thrive even more.”
