Campaign priorities & governance: “The best predictor of future success is past success. I spent over 30 years as a top-ranked lawyer and executive, solving complicated problems and protecting consumers. During all those years, no one ever questioned my honesty or integrity. As your next North Carolina Senator for District 42, I will use my extensive leadership experience to solve our state’s biggest challenges and meet the needs of North Carolinians.”
(Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026)) Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you : “A primary obligation of our General Assembly is ensuring people feel safe on our streets and in their homes. Iryna’s Law was a good first step toward providing the DA with necessary resources to prosecute crimes and eliminating discretion of magistrates and judges to grant parole pending trial in the case of certain repeat offenders who are a danger to themselves or our community. My opponent, Senator Woodson Bradley, did not show up and vote for Iryna’s Law. While Iryna’s Law was a good step forward, more needs to be done.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey (2026)) Public education & schools: “Remaining tough-on-crime; improving proficiency in reading and math for K-12 students; reducing government waste; encouraging continued economic growth, while maintaining the good quality of life we enjoy in North Carolina.”
