David Monson Monson is a former Speaker and Assistant Majority Leader. David Monson earned an A.A. from the University of North Dakota at Williston in 1970, a B.S. from the University of North Dakota in 1972, and an M.Ed. in educational administration from the University of North Dakota in 1983.
