“1. Lowering Property Taxes All Nebraskans are struggling with high property taxes, from our seniors to first-time home buyers. High property tax rates on top of rising valuations are a financial strain for many. The Legislature has recently voted to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy, while at the same time discussing new taxes on goods and services for the rest of us. When I take on re-balancing our property tax system, it will be to lessen the burden on the middle-class so we can keep more of our hard- earned dollars to help us to get ahead.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection Survey) “He is running for Nebraska Legislature in District 6 to use his experience to deliver a lower cost-of-living and stronger communities for working families. Patrick is concerned with the hyper-partisanship and hypocrisy in politics today and wants to get our government back to solving the problems facing our state - like persistently high taxes, slowing economic growth, and lack of opportunities for all. He is committed to tackling these problems with new ideas and innovative solutions that work for working Nebraskans.”
