“Right now, the funding system for public education isn't balanced. Some school choice programs receive state dollars with very little oversight of how that money is actually spent, while local public schools, the ones that most of our kids attend, are left leaning harder on property taxes to make up the difference that the state used to provide.”
(Citizens Count Issue Survey) “Working families, small businesses, and those on fixed incomes in Ossipee get the property tax bill. Our property taxes are going up, but our services are going down, and that needs to change.”
(Citizens Count Issue Survey) “Morgan holds an MBA and currently serves on the Ossipee Economic Development Council. On her own time, she actively uses her business background to pursue private funding and grants for local improvements. This allows our town to bring out even more of the New England charm in our villages and support small businesses without taking money out of taxpayers' pockets.”
