“Over $22 million is currently being spent on school vouchers. This money should go to our public schools instead. Thankfully HB 1634 recently failed as it proposed removing the income eligibility requirement for the school voucher program. Removing the income eligibility requirement for the school voucher program would cost NH over $100 million annually.”
(Citizens Count Issue Survey) “I support HB 1711. This bill would have authorized the NH Judicial Branch and the Department of Safety to report to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System records concerning persons who have been adjudicated as not guilty of a crime by reason of insanity. Unfortunately, HB 1711 failed to pass the Senate. I will vote for common sense gun safety legislation like HB 1711.”

“Current NH law allowing abortion for any reason up until 24 weeks and after for certain conditions is what the majority of NH citizens support. The only compromise that ever made sense to me was in a book by Carl Sagan stating that if we pull the plug on dying people if certain brain activity is absent then we should protect babies at the point that brain activity begins.”
(Citizens Count Issue Survey) “Government never seems to be able to look at the unintended consequences of their altruistic initiatives. For instance, the windmills are killing millions of birds and bats and in the ocean ecosystems are being destroyed as well as our heart healthy seafood dinners!.”
(Citizens Count Issue Survey) “I support voters having a valid ID to vote. For the few people who need help obtaining one, they should have access to a free government issued ID. There are so many places that an ID is needed in our society like buying cold medication at the pharmacy to name just one, not to require one for voting is illogical.”
