Energy, Utilities & Environment: “I grew up in downtown Las Vegas in a modest, hardworking family. My dad works as a porter at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, and my mom is a grocery store worker at Albertsons. We weren't wealthy, but my parents worked hard, played by the rules, and made enough to get by. Growing up paycheck to paycheck taught me early on that government should work for the people who keep our state running, not special interests.” (Campaign website)
Healthcare: “When COVID-19 hit, I moved back to Nevada to help my family after they lost their jobs in the hospitality industry. I watched businesses close, paychecks disappear, and families struggle overnight. Seeing how quickly people were left behind made it clear to me that our economy was too fragile and that working people needed a stronger voice in government. That's what ultimately led me to run for the Nevada Senate.” (Campaign website)
