Current seat holder: Al Stirpe.

Al Stirpe

I’m proud to offer this site as a resource for the residents of 127th Assembly District which includes the towns of Cicero, Clay, Manlius, and Cazenovia. On this page I’ll keep you updated and informed on the work I do both in and around the district and at the State Capitol in Albany. Representing our communities is an honor and a privilege.

“As New York grapples with balancing a spending plan with less federal funding this year, the Assembly budget proposal seeks to mitigate drastic shortfalls of critical programs, educational investments and support services our communities rely on.” (Official legislative newsroom (nyassembly.gov))
“After college, Al worked as a financial analyst for General Electric in Syracuse and eventually spun-off GE’s Electronic Camera Operation to form CID Technologies. Al was the company’s CFO and fostered innovation in the company’s information systems and customer support.” (Campaign website (alstirpeassembly.org))
“From there, Al formed a new venture, Qube Software, Inc. As the company’s president, Al brought Qube Software from a start-up business to a multi-million dollar company with 200 customers throughout the United States and Canada.” (Campaign website (alstirpeassembly.org))

“As a lifelong resident of Central New York, I’ve raised my family here alongside Samantha my wife of 21 years, and I’m deeply committed to the community we call home. My experience as an EMT and leader of one of the busiest ambulance agencies in Onondaga County has sharpened my ability to recognize critical issues and solve complex problems in high-pressure situations.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection (2024))
“When it comes to affordability, I believe that we need to rethink how Albany spends taxpayer dollars. State officials have too often overlooked the needs of upstate New Yorkers in favor of downstate priorities.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection (2024))
“Public safety is a priority that affects us all, regardless of political affiliation. We must ensure that our communities are safe, but we also need to address the underlying causes of crime.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection (2024))
