“2. Stabilize the budget by restoring sustainable revenue that wisely uses our natural resources and protects the environment. I will find other lawmakers who agree to raise Gross Production Tax on oil to 7%, set Capital Gains Tax at 7%, and restore high tax bracket for top 15% at 7%. This will require lawmakers to stop the partisan bickering and put Oklahomans first.” (Ballotpedia)
“3. Support every school and student. We must fully fund our classrooms which includes highly qualified teachers, small class sizes, equipment, textbooks and instructional materials, and secure environments. We must also encourage parental involvement of every parent. Too many parents feel marginalized by prior experiences or low income. Our schools must reach out and engage and empower every parent.” (Ballotpedia)
“I’m also passionate about health care. Oklahoma must participate in the ACA and accept the federal match. My husband is a board certified family physician and has served patients from rural and Native American populations. Oklahomans deserve access to high quality and affordable health care, and we must stop the partisan dogma that originates outside of Oklahoma that prevents Oklahomans from receiving the health care we need.” (Ballotpedia)
