“Oklahomans shouldn’t have to worry about choosing between paying their rent or putting food on the table. The cost of living has gotten out of control for far too many and wages are not keeping up. We have to do better to support working families. We need policies that will address the rising cost of housing, insurance, child care and what it takes just to get by.” (Campaign website)
“Ryan Walters left in his wake damage to our schools and the students they serve that will take years to repair. His power remained unchecked and drove Oklahoma to the bottom in the nation for education.” (Campaign website)
“Our district is home to Tinker Air Force Base, one of the largest in the state, and we have one of the largest populations of veterans living in SD42. But for years Oklahoma has left our veterans behind. We have to do more to support veterans mental health care, housing, and transition back to civilian life. As a veteran myself, I know how important this to individuals and we must do more.” (Campaign website)

“Whether we’re improving maternal health, expanding access to care in rural communities or finding better ways to use available resources, our goal should always be to improve health outcomes for the people we serve. Senate Bill 1565 is a pro-life measure and is a great example of what we can accomplish when we work together to find practical solutions that benefit Oklahoma families.” (Oklahoma State Senate)
“I’m grateful to the Rural Health Association of Oklahoma for this honor, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, but our work is far from finished. I look forward to continuing our efforts to find additional ways to improve health outcomes for Oklahomans across our state.” (Oklahoma State Senate)
