Economy, jobs & cost of living: “Finding better ways to share the responsibility of funding vital government services, including public education and local government services such as public safety, roads, and quality of life issues such as zoning protection and parks and recreation. I also believe we must contain the cost of living through making data centers pay for the electricity they use. At the state level, we need to work with municipalities to plan and zone to responsibly grow our economy while creating more affordable housing opportunities, and preserving our farmland and open space, to preserve the great quality of life enjoyed throughout Pennsylvania.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey)
Elections, voting & government reform: “1) I support opening primary elections to all voters, including independents, the fastest growing voter segment. Excluding all voters from the contests where many seats are decided is wrong. 2) As a member of Fair Districts PA, I support a citizens commission to draw state legislative and Congressional districts, ending gerrymandering for political gain. 3) Require all bills that have bipartisan support to receive a committee and floor vote in both chambers.” (Campaign website (via Ballotpedia))

Taxes & budget: “Limit government to provide unlimited opportunities. Always put taxpayers first. Always abide by the US and Pennsylvania Constitutions. Transparency in government is always the best disinfectant. Public service, not self-service.” (Campaign website)
Economy, jobs & cost of living: “Republican George Margetas, a lifelong resident of York County, was born in York in the late 1970s. The son of Greek immigrants, he grew up in the Dover/West York area, where he attended West York High School and helped his family run small businesses. It was there that George developed a deep appreciation for hard work, entrepreneurship, and the importance of building a strong, connected community. After graduating from Dickinson College and Thomas M. Colley School of Law, George continued to support his family’s businesses while launching his own ventures, further cementing his commitment to our community.” (Campaign website)
Taxes & budget: “11 years serving on the school board and NEVER voted for a budget with a tax increase. As treasurer of the school board, oversaw budgets that never raised taxes in 8 years. Stood up for students and against Governor Wolf’s COVID Tyranny. Protected girls’ sports by not allowing men to participate in them. Opposed the radical woke left’s movement to insert gender ideology and DEI into our school curriculum. As West Manchester Supervisor, continued to vote against tax increases. Helped elect conservative candidates in York County ranging from local to state to federal offices.” (Campaign website)
Guns & Second Amendment: “Protect our 2nd amendment rights now and for future generations to come.” (Campaign website)
