Defense & Veterans: “Omy Maldonado is running for Pennsylvania's 14th Senatorial District. Lifelong Lehigh Valley resident, husband, father, and Marine Corps veteran.”
(Campaign website) Education: “Omy honorably served eight years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, including two overseas deployments. Even while serving, he remained committed to education—earning his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina – Beaufort in 2017 and 2021 completing his MBA at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. His military service instilled a deep sense of accountability, leadership, and responsibility to those he serves.”
(Campaign website) Healthcare: “After returning home from service, Omy experienced the same challenges many working families face—briefly relying on unemployment benefits and state Medicaid while working to get back on his feet and provide for his family. That experience shaped his belief that families who work hard, play by the rules, and put their children first should not fall behind.”
