Adam Heimerman

Where Heimerman stands

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Listen to the people, implement policies that help the district prosper, while responsibly budgeting federal spending.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I aim to live like Davy, and love like Dolly. These are two of the most iconic figures of East Tennessee morals and compassion.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Moral Integrity. This means standing up for what is right, even when that means you are outnumbered.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Reestablishing soft power and influence on a global scale. It will take a decade to repair due to the first half likely being spent in a recession and recovery phase so we can even afford the endeavors.
