“Tennessee isn't just where we live-- it's who we are. Randy DeBord, a charter member of the First Families of Tennessee, has deep roots in this state. Generations of hard work, responsibility, and community have shaped our belief that government should serve the people honestly, transparently, and fairly.”
(Campaign website) “Education - In District 89, Tennessee ranks 47th in expenditures per student. During the 2021 school year, public schools received $5,100 less than the average US school, with funding at $13.4k compared to $18.5k. My objective is to increase allocation per student by $5k, improve our ranking to 45th, and advocate for fiscal reform to better allocate resources to our children, as I seek to represent district 89 in the Tennessee House.”
(Campaign website) “Economy/Affordable housing - Tennessee ranks between 33rd and 42nd in income, despite having an economic outlook that is 2nd in the nation. By offering tax breaks to companies that choose to locate here, we can encourage them to provide higher pay to a well-educated workforce, supporting the residents of District 89. Affordable housing is of utmost importance for the people of Tennessee and we must plan accordingly.”

“Protect Conservative Values – My wife and I are blessed to have both been raised by families who instilled in us the importance of hard work, strong character, all stemming from a Christian faith. As we raise our daughter, we want to instill these same values and leave for her a country that is stronger than it is today.”
(Campaign website) “Government’s reach into in our schools, churches, our neighborhoods and our wallets should be limited. Our citizens know best how to uphold the values of our community, protecting life and ending funding for organizations like planned parenthood. As your representative, I will fight to uphold these values that I cherish in our community. My goal is to protect faith, family and the community we all love.”
(Campaign website) “To advance the future of TN children, our teachers in all grades must keep up with advanced learning methods that include technology of the future. On the flip side, not everyone wants to go to college to be a doctor, lawyer or businessman and I support creating and expanding strong vocational paths for students who choose the jobs that keep America running.”
