“Lindsey will support responsible planning that invests in roads, schools, water, and emergency services before approving new development. She believes local communities deserve a voice in land-use decisions and that Tennessee must protect farmland, natural resources, and our quality of life while welcoming thoughtful economic growth.”
(Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey) “Rep. Gloria Johnson Tennessee doesn’t need more politicians who get quiet when things get tough. We need leaders who are willing to stand up, speak out, and fight for their communities. Lindsey Patrick-Wright has shown that courage time and again. And While librarians may appreciate a good “shh,” Lindsey knows there are moments when raising your voice for everyday Tennesseans is exactly what’s needed. I’m proud to endorse her for State Senate District 17.”
(Campaign website) “That’s what equity looks like in practice, and it’s the same lens she brings to the issues facing District 17 — affordable housing, public education, healthcare access, and infrastructure that too often gets decided without local input. I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to represent a community well: you listen first, you understand the specific needs of your neighbors, and you fight for solutions that work for the people actually living here, not just the people with the loudest voice in the room.”
