What is one part of Vermont’s economy or cost of living that needs greater attention from elected officials?: “It is a right for all people and an obligation of government to provide pathways to. We have all the resources, skills, ingenuity, drive for community, and grit we need for the next generations to craft the life they want, right here.”
“Administrative staff, curriculum, special education support, purchasing and new high school construction where needed, should be consolidated where beneficial. The two year quagmire caused by the notion of forced consolidation is totally unacceptable to me.”
“Local control and accountability cannot be replaced by additional, historically unrealized claims of affordability. The cost overruns we see are not ever going to be addressed by incorrectly blaming volunteer school boards and their historic contributions.”
