Public education & schools: “I am a strong supporter of public K-12 education and have used my position on the Joint Committee on Finance to ensure each student has the opportunity to succeed. Many school districts across the state have been facing challenges brought on by declining enrollment. I have been meeting with local leaders to listen and work toward solutions that support strong public schools, improve test scores, and prepare students for their futures.” (Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026))
Healthcare & reproductive rights: “I have fought to secure major funding increases for hospitals, mental health services, and long-term care, while supporting commonsense solutions like expanding telehealth to improve access in rural areas. I will always stand up for our local providers and work to ensure families can get the quality, affordable care they deserve.” (Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026))
Taxes, budget & cost of living: “Families across Wisconsin are feeling the effects of inflation, from groceries and gas to the rising cost of buying a home. I worked to pass a package of bills that cut red tape and make it easier to build more housing and bring down costs. I will keep fighting for policies that lower everyday expenses and help you keep more of your hard-earned money.” (Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026))

Public education & schools: “In the Assembly I serve as the ranking member for the Committees on Agriculture and Sporting Heritage. I also serve on the Financial Institutions and Ways and Means Committees. Previously I have served on the Consumer Protection and Workforce Development Committees. In the Assembly I have focused on education, preserving our agricultural heritage, and fighting for rural communities.” (Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026))
Housing & infrastructure: “Before being elected to the Assembly, I served on the Village of Oregon board where I chaired the Finance Committee and the Personnel & Public Safety Committee. As a Village Trustee, I served as the Vice-Chair of the Oregon Housing Coalition and on the Fire/EMS Commission, as well.” (Campaign website (accessed Oct 23, 2026))
Public education & schools: “For too long, lawmakers have whittled away at our freedoms. Part of the American promise is that our vote is more powerful than any politician. Instead, we have elected officials and candidates who refuse to acknowledge the will of voters and are actively finding ways to silence our voices. Wisconsinites overwhelmingly support non-partisan legislative redistricting, abortion access, and fully funding public education. Frankly, Wisconsinites value democracy. GOP Assembly leaders refuse to listen to Wisconsinites and act on our shared values.” (Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey (2022))
