“Our children are not being taken care of fairly. Our foster work got 8 times the national average of foster care taking. Our children are getting abused mentally and physically because of it and it needs a change. Someone needs to step up instead of just when it's election, time to talk about it,”
(Parkersburg WTAP-TV) “I'm pretty fair. So I'll hear you out and I'll hear myself out. And as long as we can hear each other out and see, maybe their idea is better than mine. I just thought it was better at the, my idea was better at the time, but it really wasn't. So as long as we can compromise and talk about it, I think we'd be able to work really well together,”
(Parkersburg WTAP-TV) “I think we need to be completely open. We need held accountable. We need held transparent, of course. I know there was a rumor that legislation held some NDAs about some different things, and I think I would never sign an NDA. The thing is, you're running for the people. You need to represent the people, and they need to know absolutely everything that's going on,”
