Current seat holder: Aaron Holley (Republican).

Aaron Holley

Aaron S. Holley is the incumbent Republican candidate for the House of Delegates in District 22. He is a Cabell County resident from Ona and has worked for CSX Railroad for 15 years. He is a husband and father of two and is active in his community through youth sports and outreach. Holley first ran for the District 22 seat in 2024, when he narrowly lost the Republican primary to Daniel Linville. He ran against Linville again in the 2026 Republican primary and won by a very small margin. After Linville resigned his House seat to work for Gov. Patrick Morrisey, Morrisey appointed Holley to fill the vacancy. Holley was sworn into the House on July 28, 2026, making him the current delegate from District 22. His campaign has focused on creating jobs and attracting businesses, expanding opportunities in skilled trades, improving education and supporting youth sports. Holley is running unopposed.
