Adam Burkhammer

Adam Dwayne Burkhammer is a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates and the incumbent in District 64, which includes areas of Lewis and Upshur counties. He is a member of the Republican Party. Burkhammer was first elected to the House in 2020, representing District 46 before redistricting placed him in District 64 in 2022. He won reelection without general election opposition in 2024 and advanced unopposed from the 2026 Republican primary. He faces Constitution Party candidate Nate Stansberry in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Burkhammer graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School and earned a degree from West Virginia Christian University in 2011. He is a business owner and an associate pastor at Cornerstone Community Church. Nate Stansberry

Nathaniel Stansberry is the Constitution Party candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates District 64, which covers areas in Lewis and Upshur counties. He will face Republican incumbent Adam Burkhammer in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. The Constitution Party of West Virginia announced Stansberry’s candidacy on Aug. 4 as part of a statewide slate that includes candidates for federal, legislative and county offices. Stansberry did not compete in the May primary because the Constitution Party selected its nominees through a state convention. Stansberry’s candidacy gives District 64 voters an alternative in a race that otherwise has no Democratic nominee.
